Now is your chance to break into the exciting world of filmmaking. This annual training initiative aims to develop UAE nationals’ and residents’ skills in filmmaking.
This nine-month program, which starts in September, mirrors the real process of developing and producing a film. It is structured as several workshops where you’ll learn everything you need to know to create a short film, from script writing and directing techniques to post-production.
To be eligible for this program applicants should be a UAE national or resident and have some previous experience in filmmaking.
The following materials are required in the application:

A one-minute dramatic film shot with any kind of camera (even a mobile phone).

A one-page story or treatment about a project you would like to shoot during the program.
